St. Thomas Golf & Country Club Dress Code


  • Soft spikes are mandatory

  • Traditional and tailored attire is acceptable at all times, including skirt, tailored slack and knee-length shorts. Shirts with collars are acceptable for men, and golf shirts, T-shirts with sleeves or sleeveless shirts with collars for women.

  • Shorts or skirts should NOT be worn more than 5" above the knee when standing.

  • Cut-offs, tennis or athletic style shorts, T-shirts, jogging suits, athletic shirts or sweaters with numbers or slogans, tank, halter or low-cut tops and jeans (including designer jeans) are NOT permitted.

  • Wind and rain pants may be worn in the appropriate weather.

  • Shoes & socks must be worn on the golf course.

  • Shirts must be tucked in at all times.


  • Golf attire is acceptable. Well-tailored dress jeans and country club denim, which excludes anyone from wearing denims with rips, frays or holes in the denim, may be worn in the clubhouse provided there is adherence to all other aspects of the current dress code. There are special events held at the Club where denim will not be allowed and the event flyers for those events will include a no denim policy for those particular events.
  • Golf hats and visors are NOT to be worn in the Hall of Fame Lounge (Grill Room) or Dining Room
  • Shoes must be worn in the clubhouse. Sandals and athletic shoes other than traditional golf shoes are acceptable
  • Clothes, sports bags, clubs etc. should be left in the locker room or outside, and not brought into the grill room.

If you are in doubt, don't wear it! It is the responsibility of the Club's Professional staff to enforce these rules. Please do not intentionally test their enforcement.

The Board of Directors requests that all members acquaint themselves with the Club Dress Code. Anyone who does not conform to the Club Dress Code shall be denied use of the Clubhouse facilities or the golf course.

It is the intent of the club that attire on the course and in the clubhouse maintain the high standard of dress traditionally associated with the game of golf.

Assistive devices

We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by customers with disabilities while accessing our goods or services. Such devices may be a wheelchair, cane, walker and/or oxygen tank.


We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability.

Service animals

We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. Service animals are allowed on the premises that are open to the public.

Support persons

A person with a disability who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on the premises that are open to the public.

We will notify customers in advance via email and/or telephone of any fees associated with their visit provided we are made aware of the disability in advance.

Notice of temporary disruption

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for customers with disabilities the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club Ltd will notify customers as promptly as is possible. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available.

The notice will be placed on the Events board outside the Clubhouse and on the company website: All attempts will be made to contact function coordinators ahead of time and/or verbally notifying customers when they make reservations/appointments.
